What Holler is

Holler is a call-for-help system for shop floors. When an operator hits a problem, they open Holler on their phone and tap the kind of help they need. Everyone on support duty for that shift gets a notification. One of them claims it, walks over, and fixes it. The alert is closed with a reason, and the whole exchange is on record.

Why shops use it

Most floors run on shouting, walkie chatter, or a group text. Those work until they don't. The right person is on the other side of the building, nobody is sure who is handling the problem, and there is no record of how long a machine sat waiting. Holler replaces that with one button, a clear owner for every alert, and a record you can actually use. You can see how fast alerts get claimed and what keeps breaking.

How it works

  1. An operator fires an alert. You define the alert types yourself, whether that is maintenance, materials, quality, or a plain call for help. A location or extra details can be required if you want them.
  2. Everyone on shift with the support role gets a push notification and an email. If nobody claims the alert in time, Holler escalates it to the people you choose.
  3. Whoever claims it owns it. The operator sees by name who is coming, so nobody stands around wondering.
  4. Resolving an alert records a cause code. Over time the reports show patterns instead of anecdotes.

What it needs

The phones your team already carries. There is no hardware to install and no IT project. An admin sets up the group in an afternoon: alert types, the team, and shifts if you run more than one.

What Holler is not

Holler is not a safety or emergency system, and it is not andon hardware. It will not stop a machine and it should never be the plan for a fire or an injury. It does one job: it gets the right coworker to the right place quickly, and it keeps the record.

What it costs

One flat price per group per month, not per person. There is a free tier to try it with your team. See pricing.

Holler is in private pilot and signups are not open yet. If you want to try it at your shop, email hello@hollerhq.com and we'll set you up.
