Delete your account
Holler is operated by Brightstack Labs. You can delete your account and personal data at any time.
Delete it in the app
The fastest way, on the device where you are signed in:
- Open Holler and go to Settings.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
This works the same in the web app and the mobile app.
If you cannot reach the app
Email privacy@hollerhq.com from the address on your account and we will delete it for you within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your login and password.
- Your profile: name, email, and phone number.
- Your group memberships and device notification tokens.
What is kept
Holler is a workplace tool, so the alerts and comments created in a group are that workplace's operational records (used for reporting and root-cause analysis). Those records are kept, but your name is removed from them (shown as a former member) and they are no longer linked to your account. We do not keep your login, profile, or contact details.
One thing to know first
If you are the only admin of a group that still has other members, hand admin off to someone else before deleting, so the group is not left without an admin. If you are the only person in the group, you can delete right away.
